Process Coolers for Industry

Process coolers are refrigeration systems that use either halocarbon or ammonia refrigerants. They remove heat from an industrial process load and are designed to consistently maintain a setpoint temperature 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This type of refrigeration system is used mainly in the Plastics, Baking, and Food industry, though the systems we fit are bespoke and fit for purpose in any industrial process area.

 

Food Preparation Areas – Temperature Control and Pressurised Pack Houses

When preparing food, there are rules surrounding temperature control to maximise safety and reduce the risk of contamination. Government legislation states that food which requires temperature control should be stored below 8°C.

Our pressurised pack houses and temperature control systems are compliant with guidelines set in place by the Food Standards Agency (FCA) and guarantee comfortable but safe working environments for your employees.

We’re experienced installers of chilled storage racks, optimised for storing. food and other temperature-controlled products. Storage racks and chillers are used mainly in the Food and Hospitality industries. They can vary greatly in size which is no problem for us – we are committed to meeting the needs of your brief, whatever they may be.

 

Laboratory and Research Systems and Scientific Sample Cabinets

Laboratory Refrigeration systems typically operate from 2°C to 10°C, though there are exceptions. The four main types of laboratory refrigeration system are explosion proof units, lab fridges, blood bank refrigerators and chromatography refrigerators.

Because these types of refrigeration systems often hold sensitive or contaminable items, they must be made from hygienic materials. Some may require isolated chambers to ensure dangerous materials remain locked away.

Cooling larger areas like warehouses and cold rooms can be expensive if the technology you are using isn’t high-standard or efficient.
